Abstract
The basic quantum-chemical characteristics were calculated for a serie s of model molecules and compared to the main characteristics of segme nts in the products of their polymerization. The latter characteristic s were established to correlate satisfactorily with the calculated val ues, the relationships being described by simple linear or square equa tions.
