Abstract
Nonlinear control and dynamic feedback linearization are discussed Wit hin the framework of Lie-Backlund transformations of some infinite-dim ensional differentiable manifolds. Endogenous and exogenous linearizat ions are compared and a control of the clock is introduced. Controllab ility is interpreted via Vinogradov's variational complex.
