Abstract
In this paper, a novel method is presented for calculation of the capa citance matrix of two-dimensional (2-D) interconnection lines embedded in layered dielectric media. In this method, Pade approximation is us ed to accelerate the convergence of Green's function, which leads to o bvious improvements of computational efficiency for interconnect param eters. The obtained results show good agreement with those in previous publications.
