Abstract
Three hundred twenty seven patients with medically stabilized unstable angina and a negative exercise test were followed-up during a mean of 39 months. Male gender, diabetes mellitus, and previous myocardial in farction, but not exercise parameters, were predictors of death or acu te myocardial infarction.
