Abstract
Eight species of Striglininae have been found in Vietnam: one new spec ies is described: Aglaopus whalleyi from rain forest in the Tam Dao Mo untains and one new subspecies, Striglina scitaria vietnamensis. A ful l account of our Vietnamese material is given. Faunistic and conservat ion issues are briefly discussed.
