Lx. Han et al., STUDIES ON THE TRANSPORT AND ENRICHMENT OF TRACE-METAL IONS CD2+ AND CR3+ BY W O MICROEMULSION/, Gaodeng xuexiao huaxue xuebao, 19(8), 1998, pp. 1236-1238
The water-in-oil (W/O) microemulsions, which have been prepared by usi
ng the surfactant diethylhexyl sodium sulphasuccinate (AOT) and the oi
l solvent 72-heptane, were used to transport and enrich trace metal io
ns Cd2+ and Cr3+, The experimental results show that the two metal ion
s have high transport ratios (>90%) under the optimum conditions, Cd2 has high enrich times (6-7 times) and recovery ratio (100%), but Cr3 has very low enrich times (1-2 times) and recovery ratio (0%) under t
he given conditions of de-emulsion.
