Abstract
A hybrid inorganic/organic interpenetrating polymer networks of a thre e-dimensional network structure zeolite 13X and crosslinked or linear polybutylmethacrylate was prepared in this paper, By changing the cont ent of crosslinker and the composition ratio, the size of zeolite chan nels and the crosslinking density were controlled. The results of DSC, SEM, TBA and mechanical properties show that zeolite 13X is an inorga nic skeleton and some organic PBMA run through it, which makes the who le inorganic/organic IPN material not Only have the rigidity of inorga nic substance but also have the roughness of organic substance. At the same time it improves the thermal stability of organic material.
