Wl. Glab et al., ROTATIONALLY RESOLVED PHOTOELECTRON-SPECTROSCOPY OF AUTOIONIZING STATES OF WATER, The Journal of chemical physics, 109(8), 1998, pp. 3062-3068
Rotationally resolved photoelectron spectra are reported for rovibroni
cally state-selected autoionizing levels of water. These photoelectron
spectra are helpful for the spectroscopic assignment of the autoioniz
ing-levels and provide considerable dynamical information on the mecha
nisms for the transfer of energy and angular momentum between the ion
core and the Rydberg electron. As a result of angular momentum restric
tions, photoelectron spectra for J = 0 autoionizing levels provide a d
irect partial wave analysis for the ejected photoelectrons. (C) 1998 A
