Abstract
The infrared spectra of inclusion compounds of terephthalaldehyde and two aromatic esters with alpha- or beta- cyclodextrin are studied. A w ide range of temperatures provides significant modifications of the sp ectra which are explained by rotational isomerism of the guest molecul e.
