Abstract
Solid-liquid equilibria of five binary systems (C16H10 + n-C18H38), (C 16H10 + n-C18H38), (C16H10 + n-C28H58), (C16H10 + n-C30H62), and (C16H 10 + n-C50H102) were measured and corresponding activity coefficients were calculated. UNIFAC model was used to represent experimental resul ts. Reasons of the prediction failure were analysed and discussed, Goo d representation of solubility diagrams was obtained using partly read justed UNIFAC parameters. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
