Abstract
An adaptation of the Bombieri-Taylor conjecture on diffraction has bee n applied to some time-dependent quantum systems. Here the problem is mathematically stated and a proof is presented. Simple examples give a n idea as to what extent the conjecture is-valid. (C) 1998 American In stitute of Physics.
