Abstract
Massage therapy attenuated right frontal EEG asymmetry in one-month-ol d infants of depressed mothers. Right frontal EEC asymmetry (a pattern associated with depression) decreased during and immediately followin g the massage session, indicating that massage therapy reduced EEG asy mmetry and might possibly reduce symptoms of depression.
