Abstract
In current life-cycle impact assessment, little attention is paid to t he spatial aspects of emissions: the place where an emission is releas ed and the area and or target system on which the emission has its imp act. This lack of differentiation affects the relevance of the assesse d impact. This paper presents factors for Europe that relate the regio n of emission to the acidifying impact on its deposition area.
