Abstract
The entropy of fuzzy partitions with regard to a fuzzy measure is anal yzed. A general model based on pseudo-arithmetical operations and g-fu nctions will be created. The entropy of fuzzy partitions introduced by Ruspini [Inform. and Control 15 (1969) 22] and Dumitrescu [J. Math. A nal. Appl. 176(1993) 359] is shown to be reasonable only up to an isom orphism.
