Pseudomicrodochium nectandrae anam. sp. nov., found in forest litter o
n dead leaves of Nectandra coriacea (Sw.) Griseb and Refractohilum myc
ophilum anam. sp. nov., found on ascomata of Xylaria Hill ex Grev. sp.
are described and illustrated. The former is characterized by the cyl
indrical to obclavate, filiform, one-celled, hyaline conidia and the l
atter is distinguished by its obclavate, 3-13-distoseptate, hyaline co
nidia.
