THE GENUS KRETZSCHMARIA

Sixteen species of Kretzschmaria-including taxa formerly considered as Ustulina-are recognized. Kretzschmaria curvirima, K. guyanensis, K. m egalospora, K. milleri, and K. zelandica are described as new. Kretzsc hmaria eriodendri, K. macrosperma, K. neocaledonica are new combinatio ns. Cultural and anamorphic data are provided for some taxa. A key to species and an annotated list of published epithets are included. Thre e excluded Kretzschmaria taxa are newly combined with Xylaria-X. apoda , X. heliscus, and X. intracolorata.
