Abstract
Echinodontium ryvardenii is described as a new species. It is characte rized by conchate, effuse-reflexed or resupinate basidiocarps, toothed hymenophore, presence of blackish resinous line next to the substratu m, clamped hyphae, incrusted cystidia, amyloid, ellipsoid and warted-r ough basidiospores.
