Abstract
The sequential ethylene-bridged catechol/aminophenol derivatives 2-H-3 and 3-H-3 are potential ligands for metal-directed self-assembly proc esses. They are prepared via Wittig-reaction followed by a high yield reduction step with up to three simultaneous transformations.
