Abstract
The presented paper deals with the very good experiences made over a p eriod of several years with a new degumming process applied in industr ial-scale plants for physical refining of rapeseed oil and sunflower o il. This process allows, even under varying input conditions, to achie ve very low contents of residual gummy substances, one of the precondi tions for successful physical refining.
