Abstract
In strongly disordered condensed systems the Peierls-Boltzmann type of energy transport theory is not applicable. We present an alternative approach based on a local temperature excitation. The formalism is exe mplified analytically and numerically for the Hamiltonian chain and fo r a chain with a random array of disturbed springs. Unexpected feature s are found, e.g. superdiffusion. Localization is verified also.
