In situ synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction was used to investigate t
he crystallization of microporous aluminophosphate and of Mg2+- and Zn
2+-substituted aluminophosphates. The gels contained di-n-propylamine
as the template, and were heated in quartz glass capillaries at temper
atures up to 200 degrees C. The following crystalline reaction product
s were formed: MgAPO-39, MgAPO-11, ZnAPO-39, ZnAPO-36, APO-39, APO-31,
and APO-11. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
