Abstract
A series of 4-(2-methylimidazol-1-yl)-2.2-diphenyltlutyramide derivati ves was prepared as part of a search for subtype-selective antimuscari nic agents. On the basis of measurements of the antimuscarinic activit y and subtype-selectivity for Mt and M-3 muscarinic receptors, the str ucture-activity relationships of these compounds are discussed, (C) 19 98 Elsevier Science Ltd.
