Y. Mizugaki et K. Nakajima, STATIC CHARACTERISTICS OF SUPERCONDUCTING QUANTUM INTERFERENCE DEVICES UTILIZING THE EQUIVALENT INDUCTANCE OF JOSEPHSON-JUNCTIONS, Electronics & communications in Japan. Part 2, Electronics, 81(6), 1998, pp. 1-7
It is necessary to miniaturize inductors for large-scale integration o
f Josephson devices. Utilizing the equivalent inductance of Josephson
junctions is one promising method to realize small inductors. In this
paper we calculate the static characteristics of some superconducting
quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) utilizing the equivalent inducta
nce, and we compare the results with those of SQUIDs employing the nor
mal inductors. We also discuss the current distribution before and aft
er the transition of the gate junctions. (C) 1998 Scripta Technica, El
