Abstract
The use of beta-cyclodextrin for the preparation of pellets by the ext rusion/spheronization process is described for different formulations and processing conditions. Sieve analysis and friability tests were pe rformed to assess the physical and technological characteristics of pe llets. Satisfactory products were obtained with beta-cyclodextrin cont ents up to 90% by weight.
