Abstract
Polycrystalline samples of the AlSr(2)LnCu(2)O(x) system (Ln = Y, La.. .Lu) with a crystal structure of perovskite-like 1212-type have been s ynthesized. The magnetic properties for various intensities of the ext ernal magnetic field have been investigated in the temperature region 4.2-300 K with AC and DC methods. For some samples additional measurem ents of specific heat were performed. An explanation of the magnetic p roperties is proposed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reser ved.
