Abstract
This paper describes the performance of M-ary/SSMA, in which each tran smitting signal power is assigned by the exponential law and co-channe l interference (CCI) successive cancellation techniques are adapted. F irst, we propose a novel design scheme for a system including CCI canc ellation error. Second, several computer simulation results and propag ation errors are presented. To reduce the influence of error, we discu ss higher power assignment to the users of high and low signal power t han that of the conventional simple exponential law. Finally, in the c omputer simulation results including propagation error, a spectral eff iciency of 1.465 can be achieved at a bit error rate of 10(-3). (C) 19 98 Scripta Technica.
