Abstract
4,5-Disubstituted 3-hydroxy-1H-pyrroles have been selectively obtained by controlled-potential electroreduction of substituted 1,3-thiazin-6 -ones, in protic medium, according to a reductive cyclic regression wi th elimination of hydrogen sulfide.
