Abstract
A new extension of the standard Virasoro algebra as well as its W-gene ralizations containing the Antoniadis et al. and Frappat et al. symmet ries (Refs. 8 and 9 as special cases), are obtained. The fundamentals of the quantum field theory representation of the Frappat ct al. symme try are given. Other remarkable properties are also discussed.
