Abstract
The paper discusses in detail the parameters influencing the temperatu re development of the strip during double roller processing. Two impor tant parameters in this connection are the temperature field in the me lt pool and the generation of the forming pressure. They influence the temperature development of both the strip shell and the solidified st rip leaving the roll gap.
