Abstract
An analytic solution of the coupled pore-mechanical problem in a finit e hollow axisymmetric elastic medium is derived. According to Blot the ory, we have derived rigorously the coupled elastic poro-mechanical eq uations and demonstrated that in the axisymmetric problems the diffusi on equation can be uncoupled. In the problem of infinite domain the un coupled diffusion equation is homogeneous and only the diffusion coeff icient is changed. In the problem of finite domain the uncoupled equat ion is nonhomogeneous. In fact, it is a linear differential-integral e quation. We solve it using the variable separation method in time doma in.
