Abstract
The nature of fractal surface formations observed in studies of small- angle light scattering from ferroelectric perovskites such as lead mag nesium niobate is discussed. It is postulated that these formations ma y be caused by helical growth steps on the crystal faces. (C) 1998 Ame rican Institute of Physics.
