Abstract
This note deals with the relationship between various definitions of i nstantaneous power currents. From a general framework the m-phase and the (m + 1)-conductor approaches are derived as well as the case of un equal conductor resistances. The relationship between instantaneous, s inusoidal and time-varying situations is also discussed.
