Thirty-two gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) from the direction of the Bare star
AB Dor are analyzed in the framework of the hypothesis that there is
a relation between cosmic GRBs and Bare stars. The main aim of the ana
lysis is to search for time correlations between the bursts. The proba
bility that the bursts are random in time is 10(-3), which may provide
evidence for the recurrent emission of GRBs by this Bare star. This i
s one of the first identifications of a GRB source with a stellar obje
ct. The mean burst luminosity of the star in gamma-rays with energies
greater than 20 keV is 3 x 10(34) erg s(-1).
