Sa. Suleymanova et Vd. Pugachev, UNUSUAL FREQUENCY-DEPENDENCE OF THE LINEAR-POLARIZATION OF THE RADIO-EMISSION OF THE PULSAR B0329+54, Astronomy reports, 42(2), 1998, pp. 252-258
The degree of Linear polarization of the radio emission of the pulsar
B0329+54 at 60 and 103 MHz is more than twice that expected based on i
ts frequency dependence at higher frequencies. Variation of the spectr
al behavior is observed in the frequency range 100-300 MHz for at leas
t three parameters of the pulsar emission: the distance between the ce
ntral and trailing components in the intensity profile, the width of t
he central component, and the degree of linear polarization. The two o
uter components in the integrated profile have qualitatively different
spectral behavior with regard to their distance from the central comp
onent.
