Abstract
Organotelluronium salts undergo a smooth tellurium-zinc exchange react ion with diethylzinc. The in situ generated mixed diorganozinc reagent s reacted with carbonyl compounds to give secondary or tertiary alcoho ls in good to excellent yields, (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rig hts reserved.
