J. Arnold et al., PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF BI2SR2CA1CU2O8-FILMS MADE BY LPVD(X THIN), Physica. C, Superconductivity, 213(1-2), 1993, pp. 71-77
We report about the preparation of lead-free Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-0 thin films
of the 2212 phase by laser ablation. We have found an optimal regime f
or preparation, which makes it possible to produce films with T(c0) >
80 K and j(c) (60 K) > 10(6) A/cm2 on SrTiO3 substrates. The films are
characterized by current transport measurements, RBS, XRD and SEM. We
have found a dependence of the film quality on substrate temperature,
oxygen partial pressure, pulse repetition rate and post-annealing con
ditions. First investigations on BSCCO/SrTiO3/BSCCO multilayer systems
were performed.
