Abstract
In [Cu(NCS)(C14H32N4)]ClO4, the Cu-II ion is fivefold coordinated in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal environment and the tetradentate macro cyclic ligand coordinates in a folded fashion. All four methyl groups of the macrocycle are disposed towards the same side as the isothiocya nato group.
