Abstract
Molecules of the title compound [1-(2-bromo-4-methylphenyliminomethyl) -2-naphthol, C18H14BrNO] are not exactly planar. Each contains a stron g intramolecular N ... H-O hydrogen bond between the amino and hydroxy l groups [2.553(4)Angstrom].
