Abstract
In the title compound, C12H18O6. CH3CN, both components have crystallo graphically imposed C-3 symmetry. The hydrogen bonds between the three carboxylic acid groups of (1 alpha,3 alpha,5 ha)-1,3,5-trimethyl-1,3, 5-cyclohexanetricarboxylic acid (Kemp's triacid) and three other triac id moieties make a three-dimensional hydrogen-bonding network, produci ng large intermolecular cavities.
