Various shapes of TS-1 monolith made up only of zeolite were synthesiz
ed by using a hydrothermal method. Amorphous cogel samples were pellet
ized to various shapes and then crystallized in a hydrothermal reactor
at 443 K. The amount of TPAOH and the crystallization condition play
important roles in retaining the morphology of preformed cogel, Permea
tion tests of gases on the crystallized monolith indicate that the Knu
