A closed-form solution for the optimal control of flexural vibration o
f simply supported symmetric laminated plate is obtained. The method o
f designing the optimal steady-state regulator is employed. Results fo
r both full state feedback and output feedback are presented. Results
may be useful for the purpose of comparing the numerical model and exp
