V. Schultze et al., HIGH T-C SQUIDS WITH 2 OR 3 JUNCTIONS FOR APPLICATION IN DISTURBED ENVIRONMENT, Applied superconductivity, 5(7-12), 1997, pp. 221-225
Different de SQUIDs for galvanometer type high T-c SQUID sensors are i
nvestigated. The aim is to achieve a high flux-to-voltage transfer fun
ction and good sensitivity to the current originated in a directly cou
pled pickup loop. Furthermore, the stability against external fields i
s investigated. For these purposes 2 and 3 junction SQUIDs with variou
s layouts are compared. The 3 junction SQUID showed no advantage for t
he application in a galvanometer type SQUID sensor. For the layout sli
m and long SQUID loops give best results in all respects. (C) 1998 Els
