Abstract
The distribution of tritium labeled polysulfated glycosaminoglycans af ter intramuscular injection of 2 mg PSGAG per pound of body weight was studied in 9 healthy dogs. Drug concentration, hyaluronate concentrat ion, and protein concentration were measured in synovial fluid for 72 hours post injection. Drug concentration in articular cartilage from n ormal and inflamed joints was measured 72 hours after injection.
