Small Angle Neutron Scattering determinations of the fractal dimension
s of CSH aggregates have been performed. These fractal dimensions vary
with the elaboration process (C3S hydration, pouzzolanic reaction or
direct precipitation). However, for preparation by C3S hydration, the
fractal dimension remains constant whatever the Ca/Si ratio, except wh
en silica gel is stable (Ca/Si = 1).
