Abstract
Two fossiliferous localities in NE Thailand have yielded typical euram erian Carboniferous plants. At one of the localities the genus Paripte ris Gothan was found. Consequently the Indochina block belonged to the domain of the ''Paripteris flora'' and was connected with the north p aleotethysian land masses as early as the late early Carboniferous tim es.
