K. Awaga et al., HIGH-PRESSURE EFFECTS ON A MANGANESE HEXACYANOMANGANATE FERRIMAGNET WITH T-N=29 K, Chemical physics letters, 293(5-6), 1998, pp. 352-356
The effects of high pressure, up to 1 GPa, on a Mn-based Prussian blue
ferrimagnet, Mn-3(II)[Mn-III(CN)(6)](2) . 12H(2)O . 1.7(CH3OH) with T
-N = 29 K, were studied. The transition temperature gradually increase
s with an increase in pressure and becomes similar to 40 K at 1 GPa. T
he pressure dependence of T-N can be semi-quantitatively interpreted i
n terms of the shrinkage of the Mn-CN-Mn superexchange pathway. (C) 19
