Abstract
The problem of using impedancemetry to evaluate the state (in particul ar, depth of discharge) of various chemical power sources is briefly o utlined. Based on a literature analysis, an improved method for testin g lithium-thionyl chloride cells is proposed. The method involves the determination of impedance characteristics of the loaded cells. Experi mental data are given that demonstrate the applicability of the method to the evaluation of the state of lithium-thionyl chloride cells.
