We report a case of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia complicated by high output heart failure caused by intrahepatic arteriovenous malf ormations. This patient was treated using transcatheter embolization o f the intrahepatic arteriovenous malformations with concurrent measure ment of cardiac output to monitor progress of the embolization, (Am J Gastroenterol 1998;93: 1569-1571, (C) 1998 by Am.
