Abstract
A 51-yr-old man with a tracheoesophageal fistula from an esophageal ca rcinoma had two expandable covered stents placed, which migrated dista lly. After several unsuccessful attempts to remove the stents, we fash ioned a homemade snare to entrap and remove the stents under endoscopi c and fluoroscopic guidance.
