A REMARK ON SPACES OF HOLOMORPHIC MAPS TO TAUT MANIFOLDS

We generalize the qualitative part of the Blaschke condition to holomo rphic mappings to a given taut manifold. Namely, we prove that given t wo taut complex manifolds X and Y there exists a discrete subset S sub set of X such that the natural restriction map induces a homeomorphism between Hol (X, Y) and a closed subset of Map (S, Y).
